Yadah Anti-T Red Zone Spot Cream Review

AKA that thing I can’t live without because skincare.

I received this from BBCosmetic in exchange for an honest review! All opinions are mine, of course 🙂

Before I get into this product, a little back story. Acne and I have had a very rough and tumultuous relationship throughout the years. Come puberty, I was breaking out, oily everywhere on my face, and it was just not a good time. My mom bought be facial cleansers that only dried out my skin and caused me breakout even know. “Letting my skin breathe” (because I wear makeup) or just washing my face with soap was not doing anything for me – if anything, it made my acne and self confidence worse. I had a doctor who presribed me a benzoyl peroxide cream that caused me to have white-ish flakes on my skin that was noticeable to everyone.

Once I started getting into skincare, I looked into cleansers with salicylic acid and such to combat my acne problems. Did well, but couldn’t find anything to control the oiliness or make my pores look smaller. In comes AB and I couldn’t be happier. I’m a year into an AB skincare routine and OMG. My skin is more clear and less oily. Of course, YMMV (your mileage may vary) when it comes to skincare, so always remember to patch test the hell out of any new product you’re wanting to introduce into your skincare routine [/PSA].

So, you could say I’ve had a long journey with acne. That doesn’t mean I don’t have the occassional hormonal acne or break out from patch testing something.

This product is an absolute life saver for me. Let’s keep this short and sweet.

Never mind the messy bed, dat zit doe! I do believe this was from a product (can’t remember what though). I applied the Yadah cream and…

It’s gone! Lovely, ain’t it? I do have to say this product works better when the zit in question has been popped/lanced/whatever it takes, for it to work effectively. I tried it on deep cystic acne (curse you, CosRx Snail 96 Mucin Essence!) and it wasn’t as effective in reducing the size and inflammation as much as a popped zit. Also, PSA: This product doesn’t work overnight. Consistent application is key.

And a CosDNA link for reference. This has a couple of my “Get On My Face Right Now” ingredients, including: centella asiatica and willow bark (salix alba) extract, both of which are good for acne/redness.

The product itself comes in a tube with a pump applicator that looks more like it’s suited for the eyes.

Press the little thing behind the nozzle and out comes the product!

That’s how it looks. Nothing out of the ordinary, really. Except magic.

Overall, love, love love this product! I would highly recommend for those who suffer from acne/deal with breakouts/don’t want to deal with gunk being pulled out from hydrocolloid bandages (even though those are cool to look at. Weird? Yes..

You can purchase these here! Thank you again to BBCosmetic for sending me this to try out! Found a new product to add to my skincare routine 😉
