Currently, freaking out over what to do when my undergrad is finished
I got a job 😀
I subscribed to two beauty bag subscriptions~
First bag subscription being Ipsy! I originally wanted to sub to the Sephora Play bag but the waitlist is filled up
(I signed up for a notification and am impatiently waiting), so I went for Ipsy. This is my first month for the bag. I’ve calculated the retail values of the mini sizes by finding out the price per ounce.
Long time, no post! School has been keeping me quite busy, and with my new job and internship, life has been even busier.
On a related note, my love for K-beauty has gotten deeper. But with my lack of funds (I haven’t been paid yet! T-3 days until my first paycheck! Woohoo!), it’s been hard getting around to even stocking up on backups of my favorite skincare products. But now, there’s a new option! Crystal from Brush and Powder reached out to me to let you all know, there’s now a way for you to enjoy K-beauty and make profit! You don’t have to be a student, like myself, to struggle (the real struggles, not the #struggle) and scrounge up some cash.
Brush and Powder is an online website that focuses on beauty boxes and wholesale k-beauty distribution, as well as, selling individuals items through their online shop. Crystal (co-founder of Brush and Powder) wants to help those who are looking for a little extra something to help them financially. If you’ve been living under a rock, then you may not have heard about the Rilakkuma collab with A’pieu a while back. Or the second release of the collab. Or the third release of the collab. In short, A’pieu is coming out with shit ton of cute stuff with Rilakkuma on it and I want it all (AND I WANT IT NOW~ Queen? Anybody?). I’ve been trying out these two together because 1) my lashes are short and sad and 2) THEY’RE SHORT AND SAD. I’ve actually watched videos about the primer and the ladies who I’ve seen apply it have longer lashes than mine. Because my lashes are short and don’t hold a curl very well, I usually go for waterproof mascara since I know my lashes will stay curled. The Voluminous Original mascara that came in the box is non-waterproof, so, I worked with what I got.

I’ve lemmed so hard for this cushion. Once I started getting into cushion foundations I’ve been wanting to try them all. #gottacatchtrythemall does apply. I have my fair share of cushions that are too light in general, too light for the summer but perfect for the winter, and cushions that are too dark in the winter but perfect for the summer. I’m learning to enjoy my tan but I seriously cannot wait until I get to wear cardigans again because the heat is almost too unbearable.
I asked BBCosmetic if I could try out this this cushion and they generously let me try it! Again, this review is 100% honest 🙂
